Girls Got Moves is a community-centered event dedicated to empowering girls through movement, leadership, and connection. The event will take place on October 11 at The Corner at NC State and will bring together local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to create an inspiring day of learning, wellness, and fun. Hosted by Girls Geared for Greatness, Girls Got Moves celebrates the power of community to move girlhood in a better direction. From our Storytelling Segments on stage to Activation Stations (literacy, service, goal setting and more) to Demo Sessions (self-defense, yoga, dance) to prompted Open Mic Moments for attendees, the day will be centered around the many ways we can each discover our inner greatness and support each other along our unique journeys.
