Girl Talk with Poe Center for Health Education is an interactive educational workshop designed to help preteen girls and their trusted adults navigate the transition into adolescence together. The program covers the physical, social, and emotional changes that come with puberty, helping to break the ice on topics that can sometimes feel awkward to bring up at home. What to Know: This session is designed specifically for girls in the fourth through seventh grades, and each registration fee of $45 covers both the child and their accompanying adult. The event takes place at the Poe Center facility on Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh, which offers free on-site parking. You do not need to bring any materials, as the educators provide all necessary resources and guidebooks during the presentation.
