Game On! at Moore Square is a free, drop-in outdoor recreation day featuring giant lawn games and sports equipment in downtown Raleigh. Kids can play with oversized chess sets, giant Jenga blocks, hula hoops, and soccer balls on the park lawn. This event is best suited for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children who enjoy active, unstructured play. There is no cost to participate, and you do not need to register in advance. Street parking is available around the perimeter of the square, or you can use the Marbles City Market deck nearby. Pack a blanket and some snacks, as there is plenty of shade for a picnic between games. It is a straightforward, low-stress outing that gets everyone outside. The central location makes it easy to combine a morning of play with a visit to the nearby library or a quick lunch downtown.
