Game On! at Moore Square is a free outdoor community event featuring giant lawn games, board games, and active sports equipment in the heart of downtown Raleigh. This event is best suited for toddlers through middle schoolers who enjoy hands-on play like giant Jenga, chess, and soccer. There is no admission fee, and you can find paid parking at the Moore Square deck on South Wilmington Street or use nearby street meters. Pack a blanket, some water bottles, and sunscreen, as shade can be limited in the open lawn areas. It makes a great weekend stop because it is completely flexible. You can drop in for thirty minutes of play before lunch at the nearby transfer food hall, or spend the whole afternoon letting the kids run off energy on the grass.
