Fight Club

Three films. Three unreliable narrators. Three realities torn wide open. Join host Glen Haley as we explore the thin line between psychological delusion, systematic manipulation, and the desperate lies we tell ourselves to survive in The Cary’s new film series “Fractured Minds & Faked Realities.” In this adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk’s 1998 novel, Brad Pitt stars as Tyler Durden, a sociopath filled with anarchic rage, who organizes an underground organization of “fight clubs.” He enlists the aid of his unassertive friend, Jack (Edward Norton), to destroy conventional “society.” Pre-show talk with host Glen Haley. Film screening follows talk.
