Festifall Arts Market is an annual outdoor community festival in downtown Chapel Hill that showcases regional artists, crafters, and performers. Now in its 53rd year, the event has moved to a new location at the Rosemary and Columbia street lot to accommodate even more local makers. Admission is free, making it easy to pop in for an hour or stay all afternoon. The open-air market is highly stroller-friendly, and kids will enjoy the lively music and colorful booths. This market makes a fantastic Saturday outing because it combines supporting local North Carolina makers with a walk through downtown Chapel Hill. You can grab lunch at a nearby Franklin Street diner, let the kids look at the art, and head home just in time for afternoon naps.
