“Remember to bring your valid ID since this fun dance night is 21 and up.”
Femme Friday DJ Dance Party is a monthly late-night music event at The Velvet Hippo in Durham featuring sets by local female and nonbinary disc jockeys. Since this event starts at 9:30 PM and is strictly for ages 21 and older, you will need to leave the kids at home with a sitter. There is no cover charge to enter, but you will want to bring funds for the drink specials. This is an excellent option for a lively date night or a night out with friends where you can enjoy downtown views, great music, and a crowded dance floor under the disco balls.
