For children ages 0-5. An interactive program with books, music, rhymes, and movement to nurture pre-reading skills. Space is limited. Please plan to arrive early to pick up your free tickets at the Youth Services desk.
Family Storytime is a free, interactive morning program at the Cary Regional Library designed to build early literacy skills through books, songs, and movement. This thirty-minute session is designed for children from birth to age five. Because space inside the children's room is limited, you must pick up a free entry ticket at the Youth Services desk before heading in. Parking is available in the adjacent parking deck, which makes it easy to navigate the walk with a stroller. It is a simple, low-stress outing to add to your weekday routine. Afterward, you can easily walk over to the nearby Downtown Cary Park to let the kids play and burn off some energy.
