Family Storytime is a free, interactive library program in Cary designed to help young children build early literacy skills through books, songs, and movement. This thirty-minute session is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers, along with their parents or caregivers. The event is entirely free to attend, and you do not need to register in advance. The West Regional Library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you can easily park a stroller inside the lobby before heading into the children's section. It is a low-stress weekday outing that gets you out of the house early. Your kids can burn off some energy during the movement songs, and you can browse the shelves to stock up on new picture books for bedtime reading before you head home.
