Family Storytime is a free, thirty-minute interactive reading program designed for young children and their caregivers at the West Regional Library in Cary. This session is tailored for toddlers and preschoolers, focusing on early literacy through repetitive rhymes, music, and physical movement. The library offers plenty of free parking in its dedicated lot, and you do not need to register in advance. Just bring your children and be ready to sit on the carpet and participate alongside them. It makes an excellent weekend stop because it provides a structured, educational activity before the midday nap window. Afterward, you can browse the children's section to stock up on books for the week ahead.
