Family Storytime is a free, interactive early literacy program featuring books, songs, and movement for young children and their caregivers. This thirty-minute session is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, though all young children are welcome. It takes place at the West Regional Library in Cary, which offers plenty of free parking in its dedicated lot. You do not need to register in advance, but arriving ten minutes early helps you secure a spot and settle in before the music starts. It is an easy, low-pressure outing to add to your weekday routine. Your child gets to practice listening in a group setting, and you can connect with other local parents before browsing the children's section for books to take home.
