Family Storytime is an interactive evening program at the West Regional Library in Cary that combines books, songs, and movement to help young children build early reading skills. This free event is designed for toddlers and preschoolers along with their caregivers. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you do not need to register in advance. Since the program involves movement and floor seating, wear comfortable clothes and leave large strollers in the designated lobby area to keep the room clear. An evening library visit is an easy, low-pressure way to transition into the weekend. It gives kids a chance to burn off some energy through music and rhymes, and you can browse the shelves to stock up on picture books for weekend reading before the library closes.
