Family Storytime is an interactive morning program at the Oberlin Regional Library that combines books, songs, and movement to help young children build early reading skills. This free event is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, though all young children are welcome. Because room capacity is limited, you must pick up a free entry ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 9:30 AM on the morning of the event. The library has a dedicated parking lot, but it can fill up quickly on weekday mornings, so give yourself extra time to park and secure your tickets. It is a reliable, low-stress weekday outing that gets you out of the house, keeps the kids active, and lets you connect with other local parents before lunchtime.
