Family Storytime is an interactive morning program at the Cary Regional Library that combines books, music, rhymes, and movement to help young children build early literacy skills. This free event is designed specifically for children from birth through age five. Because space inside the library program room is limited, you will need to arrive early to secure your spot. Free entry tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Youth Services desk starting before the session begins. It is an easy, low-pressure way to get the kids out of the house on a Saturday morning. Since the library sits right in downtown Cary, you can easily pair the half-hour session with a walk to the nearby playground or a local coffee shop afterward.
