Family Storytime is an interactive morning program designed to build early literacy skills through books, songs, rhymes, and active movement. This free event is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers who learn best through active participation. Because room capacity is limited, you must pick up a free entry ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 9:30 AM. The library has a dedicated parking lot, but it can fill up quickly on Saturday mornings, so give yourself extra time to park and grab your tickets. It is a straightforward, low-stress way to get the kids out of the house on a Saturday morning. You can easily pair the half-hour session with a walk to the nearby playground at Jaycee Park or a quick trip to Cameron Village for lunch.
