An interactive program for children 5 and under and their families with books, music, rhymes, and movement to nurture pre-reading skills. No registration required. Stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up a ticket.
Family Storytime is a free, interactive library program in Apex designed to help young children build early literacy skills through books, music, and movement. This program is best suited for children ages five and under accompanied by a caregiver. It is completely free to attend, and you do not need to register in advance. However, you must stop by the Youth Services desk when you arrive to pick up an entry ticket, as space is limited. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces, and you do not need to bring anything other than your library card if you want to check out books afterward. This mid-week event is an easy, low-stress way to get out of the house, connect with other local parents, and help your child burn off some energy before lunchtime.
