Family Fun Night: Funny Face Planters is a free, hands-on crafting workshop where children decorate personalized pots to sprout seeds at home. What to Know: The event takes place in the Children's Programming Room at the East Regional Library in Durham. While the program is entirely free and all supplies are provided, you must register online in advance to secure a spot. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces, so you will not need to hunt for parking before the 5:30 PM start time. This weekday activity is an easy way to break up the school week with a creative project that does not require you to clean up the glue and dirt at your own kitchen table.
