Fall Community Plant Swap

Welcome to our Fall Community Plant Swap! Bring and take saplings, shrubs, bulbs, houseplant cuttings, flowers, and seeds to swap and share with other local gardeners! Check out free seeds from our Digging Durham Seed Library, and resources from Master Gardeners with the Cooperative Extension Office! Enjoy the Fall bounty and planting season together! The swap will be held on October 17 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Main Library located at 300 North Roxboro Street, inside the MakerLab on the first floor. Please bring your own boxes or bags for transporting plants. A marker, painters' tape or tags, and small bags or envelopes are also helpful at plant swaps. Parking is available in the library lot or at the North Queen Street Garage (115 North Queen Street) which is located directly across the street from the library behind the apartments. We can validate parking in the garage at the Circulation Desk with your ticket. Digging Durham Seed Library Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Durham County Registration is appreciated to determine the amount of people that might attend and to receive an email reminder about the event.
