Evita tells the sweeping and powerful story of Eva Perón, tracing her rise from humble beginnings to becoming Argentina’s celebrated and controversial First Lady. Featuring unforgettable music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, this Tony Award-winning musical includes iconic songs such as “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” and “Buenos Aires.” Exploring ambition, fame, power, and the price of becoming a legend, this production is performed by Theatre Raleigh ACT Performance Company students.
