This outdoor market features local crafts. All artisans live and craft no more than 30 miles from Durham city limits. It's free to attend. Founded in 2006, what started as a grassroots effort with a handful of artists, has grown into a juried, artist run collective of over 50 artists! Today, the Durham Craft Market is known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional handmade work, and the chance for neighbors and visitors to connect with Durham’s best artists. Please note that from November to March the hours are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Read on for a couple of special holiday events. On Saturday, November 28, 2026, Durham Craft Market is holding a special Shop Small Saturday Market, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the same location.
