Join us as we go back to the basics! We will learn how to access The Great Courses and work through "How to Draw." This week, we will learn about linear perspective. Please bring pencils and a sketchbook or email dpeterson@dconc.gov if you need supplies. Registration is not required but is encouraged.
Drawing Club is a free, hands-on art workshop at the North Regional Library in Durham focused on teaching fundamental sketching techniques. Participants will use video lessons from The Great Courses series to master linear perspective in a supportive, self-paced environment. This session is best suited for adults and older teenagers who can focus during a structured instructional video. The class is entirely free, and while you should bring your own sketchbook and pencils, you can email the organizer ahead of time if you need materials provided. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces right outside the entrance. It is a practical mid-week option for parents looking to carve out some quiet creative time or connect with their creative teenagers over a shared hobby.
