Downtown Raleigh Illuminate Art Walk

Downtown Raleigh comes to light with Illuminate, a self-guided, light-based art walk. This five-week activation takes place in Downtown Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street and Glenwood South districts. Illuminate will transform plazas and underutilized spaces with a large-scale interactive installations, light-based sculptures and projection art. Each year since 2020, new and returning installations bring fresh excitement to the experience, encouraging visitors to explore downtown’s streets, plazas, and hidden corners in a whole new light. Whether you’re planning a festive night out, a family stroll, or a date night adventure, Illuminate Art Walk offers the perfect backdrop for making holiday memories and discovering local art in the heart of North Carolina's Capital City. This year you'll want to step into an enchanting musical garden where Amigo & Amigo's towering Trumpet Flowers invite you to explore a vivid, interactive world of light and sound, inspired by the charm of vintage gramophones.
