Formed in Louisville, Kentucky in 2022, Doom Gong is a seven-piece band known for its self-described "Denim Psych"—a genre-bending mix of psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, prog, lo-fi, bedroom pop, and contemporary classical music. In just three years, they've released four albums, shared the stage with artists including Amyl and the Sniffers, The Black Angels, and BADBADNOTGOOD, and performed at major festivals across the U.S. and Canada. With six more albums in the works and a European tour underway in 2026, Doom Gong continues to push the boundaries of modern psychedelic music.
