It's the Wednesday night ride! This is a no drop 10 to 15 mile ride and we ride roughly an hour depending on the route. Please note LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED to attend this ride. This is a STATE LAW and we want to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your help with this. Don't forget your helmet. Lets have fun and be safe!
The Crank Arm Wednesday Bike Ride is a weekly, non-competitive group bicycle ride that starts and ends at Crank Arm Brewing in downtown Raleigh. The group covers ten to fifteen miles over the course of about an hour, maintaining a pace that ensures no rider is left behind. If you plan to attend, you must bring a helmet and functional front and rear bicycle lights to comply with state law and keep the group visible. This event is best suited for experienced cycling teens and parents rather than young children, as you will be riding on public roads. There is no cost to join the ride, and street parking is available around the warehouse district, though you may want to arrive early to find a spot. It is a fantastic way to break up the school week, get some fresh air, and connect with the local Raleigh cycling community in a relaxed, social setting.
