Search the Children's Area to find the hidden dinosaur and reptile fossils. Write down the name of each creature you discover. Return your completed scavenger hunt for a prize!
North Regional Library in Durham is running a self-paced scavenger hunt in the Children's Area. Hidden dinosaur and reptile fossils are tucked around the space, and kids write down the name of each one they find. When the hunt sheet is finished, they turn it in for a prize.
The library lists it for preschool and elementary-age children. It starts Thursday, Nov. 5, and is offered on 16 dates through Tuesday, Nov. 24, so you can fit it into whatever day works for your family. The library is at 221 Milton Rd. The page does not give a price or say whether you need to register, so check the library's page before you head over.
