Buena Vista Social Club is a Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical that tells the story of the legendary Cuban musicians who united to record their iconic 1997 album. The stage production uses live music and dance to follow a young producer who coaxes a famous diva out of retirement, exploring themes of second chances and artistic legacy. If you plan to go, keep in mind that the show runs for two hours and is best suited for middle schoolers and teenagers who can sit through a full-length theatrical performance. Tickets are sold directly through the DPAC website, and parking is available in the nearby East Regional Garage for a flat fee.
