Embark on a lichen-centric ramble through Duke Gardens with Scott LaGreca, Paul J. Kramer Plant Collections Manager, to explore the fascinating world of these curious organisms. Learn to identify different kinds of lichens and understand their ecological roles. Fee: $24; free for Duke Gardens members with discount code. Parking: Parking fees apply. Location: Pelham-Cullen Classroom inside the Barnes Welcome Center. Accessibility: This will be a small group program that takes place partially seated indoors and partially outdoors, traveling on a combination of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven surfaces and moderate inclines.
