Ribs (experimental rock) with Blab School (post punk) are playing at Slim’s. Blab School is a North Carolina-based post-punk band, specifically recognized as a "two-city" band operating out of Durham and Carolina Beach, NC. The band was formed via a Craigslist ad by experienced musicians in the North Carolina indie rock scene and released their self-titled debut LP on Fort Lowell Records in 2024. Ribs (stylized as RIBS) is an American space rock/grime band based in Boston, Massachusetts. The band is fronted by guitarist and vocalist Keith Freund, while Chris Oquist plays drums. Over the years, the band as developed a DIY-method of recording, mixing and releasing work, releasing all their music on their independent label, Arbitrary Music Group.
