Bilingual Storytime at The Nasher / Cuento Bilingüe en el Museo de Arte Nasher

Bilingual Storytime at the Nasher is a monthly program where children and their caregivers gather in the museum galleries for stories read in both Spanish and English, followed by a brief art discussion and a hands-on craft activity. Hosted in partnership with the Durham County Library, this event bridges early literacy with visual arts in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This program is designed specifically for children ages one to five and their caregivers. Admission is entirely free, and you do not need to register in advance unless you are bringing a group of eight or more. The museum is located on Duke University's campus, and paid visitor parking is available in the lot directly in front of the building. It is an ideal weekday morning outing because it combines structured learning with open-ended creativity. The short format keeps toddlers active and interested, while the post-story craft gives them a tangible project to take home.
