A lapsit program for babies, aged birth to crawling, and their caregivers that incorporates books, music, rhymes and movement, followed by open playtime.
Baby Storytime is a free, interactive early literacy program designed for infants and their caregivers at the Green Road Community Library in Raleigh. This session is tailored specifically for babies from birth until they start crawling. You do not need to register or buy a ticket, making it easy to attend even if your morning schedule changes. The library has a dedicated parking lot, and you should bring a small blanket for your baby to lie on during the floor activities. It is an excellent weekday outing for new parents looking to build a routine. The structured portion is short enough to hold an infant's attention, and the social playtime afterward offers a relaxed space to chat with other families in the neighborhood.
