Baby Storytime is a free, interactive morning session at the South Regional Library in Durham designed for infants and their caregivers. This thirty-minute program is tailored specifically for babies from birth to 18 months old. You can expect a gentle flow of lap bounces, nursery rhymes, and simple fingerplays that support early language development. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of spaces, and you do not need to register in advance. Just bring a small blanket for your baby to lie on if they are not yet sitting up. It makes a wonderful addition to your weekly routine because it provides a structured, welcoming environment to get out of the house. You can easily pair the session with a stroll through the children's book section afterward to stock up on board books for the week.
