There’s no need to sleuth out the identity of our first guest speaker of the 2026–2027 academic year—it’s none other than best-selling whodunnit author, Richard Osman! The event will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd, in the Jones Auditorium on Meredith’s campus. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Osman’s novels, The Thursday Murder Club, The Man Who Died Twice, The Bullet That Missed, The Last Devil to Die, and We Solve Murders were number one international bestsellers as well as New York Times bestsellers. His stop at Meredith will be a part of the tour for his newest book, We Chase Shadows. Copies of all his titles are available for purchase on the Quail Ridge Books website. Osman will not be signing books on the 23rd, but autographed copies of We Chase Shadows will be for sale before and after the event.
