Artspace Open Studio is a free, drop-in afternoon program where children can complete a self-guided craft project using provided materials. Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, this session allows kids to explore their creative side in a working artist community. This event is designed specifically for children ages five and older, and there is no cost to participate. You do not need to register in advance, making it a flexible option for Sunday plans. Street parking is free on Sundays in downtown Raleigh, or you can use the Wilmington Station Deck located just a block away. It is an ideal weekend stop because it requires zero preparation on your part, and the staff handles the cleanup. Since the activity is self-guided, you can stay for thirty minutes or the full two hours depending on your child's attention span.
