Art Cart at Downtown Cary Park (Oct 20, 2026)

Art Cart 2026-Tuesday is a free, drop-in outdoor crafting program for children held at the Downtown Cary Park Academy Pavilion. Kids can choose to follow a guided craft project or use the provided paints, paper, and supplies to create whatever they imagine. This program is best suited for toddlers through early elementary-aged children who enjoy hands-on projects. There is no cost to participate, and all materials are provided on-site. Because the pavilion is outdoors, dress your kids in clothes that can handle a little paint or glue, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated while they work. It is a low-stress way to get out of the house on a Tuesday morning, let your kids get messy with art supplies you do not have to clean up at home, and enjoy the park play areas afterward.
