Please join Ms. Donielle's storytime where everyone will learn their ABCs through songs and storytelling! There will also be felt pieces, music, movement, and more! During each session, we will all practice sounding out a letter along with words that begin with that letter. This program is for children (0-5 years) and their caregivers. Registration is appreciated.
Alphabet Storytime with Ms. Donielle is a free early literacy program at the South Regional Library in Durham that teaches young children the alphabet through interactive storytelling and music. This session is designed specifically for children from birth to age five and their caregivers. You can expect a mix of songs, movement, and hands-on felt board activities, with a focus on practicing letter sounds and vocabulary. The program is free to attend, and while registration is appreciated to help staff prepare, it is not strictly required. The library offers a large, free parking lot right outside the main entrance, making it easy to navigate with a stroller. Starting the week with a structured library visit is an easy way to ease into your routine. It gives toddlers a chance to practice social skills in a relaxed setting, and you can browse the children's section for new books to take home afterward.
