After-School Hangout - Lego Build Lab is a free, drop-in creative building program for elementary school students at the Southeast Regional Library in Garner. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required, making it easy to fit into a busy weekday afternoon. The library offers plenty of free parking in its dedicated lot, and all building materials are provided, so you do not need to bring any supplies from home. While this is a weekday event rather than a weekend activity, it serves as a perfect low-stress transition into the weekend. It gives your kids a chance to socialize outside of the classroom in a relaxed, structured environment while you enjoy a few quiet minutes to browse the library shelves.
