School-age kids (K-5th grade) are encouraged to join Ms. Abbie in the children's programming room for a different craft each session! This time we'll be making snails out of beads and air dry clay. Registration required! If you have questions about accessibility, program stimulation levels, and/or need disability accommodations, please contact us at (919) 560-8592.
What is Adventures in Crafting: Beaded Clay Snails? This is a free, hands-on crafting workshop for elementary school students hosted at the Southwest Regional Library in Durham. What to Know: This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. It takes place in the dedicated children's programming room, and all materials are provided at no cost. Because space and supplies are limited, you must register your child in advance to secure a spot. If your child has specific sensory needs or requires disability accommodations, you can coordinate directly with the library staff by calling 919-560-8592 before the event. This session offers a structured, creative outlet to help transition your kids from the school day into the evening. It is an easy, budget-friendly way to let your children experiment with clay without having to clean up the messy residue at your own kitchen table.
