Registration for the Fall 2026 adult classes is open and will close July 15, 2026. Once the student limit (6) for each of the two classes is reached, registrants will be put on a waiting list. All students will be given the materials needed to make lace, such as a lace pillow, bobbins, basic threads, and pins. The class fee includes the cost of these items. The fee is payable once the registrant's space in the class is confirmed.
The Adult Beginner Bobbin Lace Class is a hands-on, multi-week evening course designed to teach the fundamentals of traditional lace making. Participants will learn how to manipulate bobbins and pins to create intricate woven patterns under the guidance of an experienced instructor. This class is designed specifically for adults, making it a perfect solo outing or a creative night out with friends. The registration fee is $250, which covers all necessary supplies including your own lace pillow, bobbins, pins, and thread to keep. Class size is strictly limited to six students to ensure plenty of individual instruction, and registration closes on July 15, 2026. Taking this class is a wonderful way to carve out dedicated personal time during the busy week. You will leave with a beautiful handmade project and a relaxing new hobby that you can easily continue practicing at your kitchen table.
