A Matter of Balance is an eight-week workshop series designed to help older adults manage falls, reduce fear of falling, and increase their daily activity levels. What to Know: This free program is designed for adults age 55 and older. Sessions take place on Thursday afternoons in the meeting room at the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library in Durham. Parking is available in the library lot, and participants should plan to attend the weekly sessions consistently to get the full benefit of the curriculum. This program makes a thoughtful weekend planning addition if you are helping local grandparents coordinate their weekly schedules.
