3rd-5th Adventures - Money Sense! is a free financial literacy workshop designed specifically for upper elementary students at the Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex. Led by instructors from Building Financial Futures of America, the session uses hands-on games to teach children how to distinguish between everyday wants and practical needs. This program is strictly for children in third through fifth grade. The event is entirely free, but entry requires a ticket. You can pick up your child's ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 4:45 PM on the day of the event. Parking is available in the library's main lot, and you do not need to bring any materials. It is a smart weekday addition to your schedule because it tackles a complex topic in a highly interactive, stress-free environment. Your child will gain practical life skills while socializing with peers from the Apex community.
